Your Empower Network Blog Needs Content: Here You Go

Stuck Trying To Come Up With Empire Network Blog Content?

OK, you’ve gotten your Empire Network blog, now what? The Empire Network is not just about 100% commissions. Don’t get stuck there.  It is also a training site and a very powerful viral blogging platform.

Don’t make the mistake of just getting hung up on the 100% commissions.  Yes, that’s a great thing, but there’s more to it than that.  You want Internet real estate and residual traffic and income.

There is no better way to get it than with blogging.

That’s what makes Empire Network so powerful, especially for those who don’t already have an authority blog.

Their site is already aged, meaning it has page rank and authority.  Heck it was even the #1 trending topic on Alexa and they aren’t even 2 weeks old yet.  That should give you a clue as to how major this thing is gonna be.

Now, wouldn’t you want your content to be on a site like that?  Of course… Read the rest of this entry

I just love that headline, mainly because it’s true. I recently went on vacation and did absolutely nothing in my business for almost two weeks. I was in small town called Sosua which is located on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. If you know anything about some parts of the Caribbean, you’ll know that a lot of times things internet access and wi-fi are sketchy at best. So although I hadn’t planned on working much, even if I wanted to if would’ve been a challenge.

If I’m being completely honest with you, towards the end of my vacation, I began to worry a little that I hadn’t touched my business in so many days. To my surprise though, when I got back in the States, in the Miami Airport to be exact, my cell phone started buzzing like crazy with notifications of sign-ups and when I finally checked my email, it was brimming over with leads.

Hmmmm, I guess my strategy really does work. I’m gonna share with you exactly what the headline states and it’s all possible using one strategy. Read the rest of this entry

Why Doesn’t Anyone Read My Content?

Have you ever wondered why you don’t get much traffic to your articles or blog posts? OR why your emails have such a low click rate?  Well, wonder no more because I’m going to tell you – YOUR HEADLINE SUCKS!

It’s true, you have a sucky headline and no one cares to click and read any further.

Take my word for it because it’s a copywriting fact – the headline is the most important part of any content you create, whether it be an email, an article, blog post or video, you should spend more time crafting the headline than you do the actual content.

It matters not how good your content is, if the headline is just plain horrible.

Let me create an image for you here, because pictures are always clearer.

Imagine someone brought you a gift wrapped in a stinky smelly trash bag?  How inclined would you be to open that gift?  I mean the bag wreaks of the most awful odor you’ve ever smelled.  You’d most likely refuse it or you’d accept it and throw it away as soon as they were out of sight.

Now what you don’t know is that within the bag is a beautifully wrapped box filled with (100) $100 bills.  Yep, $10,000 in cold hard cash.  But you never opened the gift because the packaging stunk.

That’s your headline.  So you see, you want to master making your headline, so alluring, so appealing and compelling that everyone wants to open your gift – which is your message.

If you can get good at writing headlines, you can get more eyes on your content and your leads will build up dramatically.

The challenge here is that it  takes a lot of education to learn the art of copywriting; how to carefully arrange words in a sequence that strike a cord with people.

Well, good for you that I recently stumbled upon an amazing tool that’s going to take the guess work out of writing headlines for you.

It’s called the Emotional Marketing Value Headline Analyzer created by the Advanced Marketing Institute.

This free tool will analyze your headline to determine the emotional marketing value score.  Copywriters understand that there are certain words, magic words, action words, hypnotic words that have a certain impact on people.  That’s exactly what the tool analyzes.

For example, my tile “Why Doesn’t Anyone Read My Content?” came back with an EMV score of 50% indicating that my headline has a total of 50% Emotional marketing Value (EMV) words.

To put that in perspective, the English language contains approximately 20% EMV words.

And for comparison, most professional copywriters’ headlines will have 30%-40% EMV Words in their headlines, while the most gifted copywriters will have 50%-75% EMV words in headlines.

In addition to the EMV score, you will find out which emotion is most impacted with your reader:  intellectual, empathetic or spiritual.

Why is a high EMV score important?

Communication is the key of effective marketing.  And the key to communication is being able to reach your reader at an emotional level, involving them in your message, and invoking their deeper thoughts.

While many marketers “guess” how people will react to various words and offers, The Advanced Marketing Institute have determined a test which will give you an actual rating that you can use to judge how well  your content will be received by others.

Bottom line…

It takes the guess work out for you and you instantly know that your headlines will get readers to open your content.

This is an amazing tool to add to your arsenal to get tons of traffic to everything piece of content you create.

Go HERE to start creating masterful headlines today.

4 Guaranteed Ways To Get Hordes of Traffic

get blog trafficLet’s face it, in network marketing, affiliate marketing, or any type of online marketing, traffic is the name of the game.  Having a great website or capture page is like having a restaurant on a lonely dirt road out in the boondocks.  The food can be slap your mama good, but if no one knows about it, eventually the restaurant will close down, because it gets no traffic.  Here are 4 sure fire ways to get traffic to your websites, so you can start making some money.

Now, a couple things first before I get into that.  This is all based on the presumption that your site is optimized to convert well once the traffic gets there.  If you’re not sure it is, read 5 Ways To Improve The Conversion Rate on Your Blog from my friend Hector Cuevas.

Secondly, although all of these methods work, they will not work overnight.  So if instead of how do I get tons of traffic to my site, your question is how to I get a gazillion visitors overnight, make $1M and retire, then this article won’t help you one bit.  I don’t have the answer to that question and neither does anyone else because it just ain’t happening.

Now let’s jump into it.

1.  Forums

Find a couple of active discussion forums, join and participate.  Two great forums for network marketers are the Warrior Forum and the forum at Better Networker.  You can also find forums by going to Google and typing in your niche, the plus sign and the word “forums”.  So it’ll look like this:

generate mlm traffic

Now make sure that any forum you join allows you to have a signature file.  This is the main reason for joining forums.  A signature file is attached to every post you make and it includes your name, tag-line and a link.  A link to what?  Whatever you want – your blog, capture page, website, etc.

Now will you get a ton of traffic from making one post?  No! But if you make say 10 posts a day and you’re an active member of the forum contributing value, you’ll start to generate traffic.

PLUS, the more posts you have, they’re archived in the forums and your signature file stays there forever.

2. Blog commenting

You want to comment on active blogs that have a high readership or should I say low alexa ranking.  This will help you in the search engines because most blogs allow you to leave a link which creates back links for you.  Note:  It must be a do-follow blog.

You can also attract people of your mindset by the quality of your comments.  Now, please make sure that you are leaving quality comments that contribute to the blog post.  It’s easier to do this if you actually enjoy reading the blog.

You also want to make sure that you’re among the first few to leave a comment.  I would say within the top ten.  Those are the comments that get viewed the most.

You can use a tool called the Comment Sniper to alert you when your favorite blogs are updated.  I’d like to thank my friend Marcus Baker for that tip.

3. Article Marketing

(Yawn)

I know it’s work and it’s boring, but why do so many people talk about it?  Because it works!  Article marketing is simply writing brief quality articles and submitting them to article directories such as Ezine Articles.  When you do this, you give the world the right to republish your articles all over the web.  Why do this?  Because your article contains something called an author box, also, called a bio-box.  This is the area again, where you lead readers back to your blog, capture page, affiliate link, etc.

This s long-term strategy that will definitely bring you traffic and money if you are consistent. One article will not do the trick.  You should start with a minimum of an article a day.

There is a formula do doing article marketing correctly and you can learn more from my Article Marketing Series.

You will also want to automate this process with automatic article syndication that submits your articles for you.

Article marketing is a type of traffic generator that even if you wanted to stop the traffic flow, you couldn’t.  Again, this takes discipline.  You have to dig your heels in and do the work.

4. Social Media

Facebook and Twitter can get you a ton of traffic.  Now this may not be the type of traffic that buys from you right away.  But it is a way for you to get your brand out there and build your list.

You can create groups, start fan pages, interact in tribes, etc.  All of this gets your face and brand out there and creates mini-lists that you can interact with and market to.

Much of Twitter can be automated. Everyday, simply follow people in your niche.  You can either do this by searching directly on Twitter or simple following people who follow  the gurus in network marketing.  For instance, if someone is following Mike Dillard or Daegan Smith, it’s a good chance that they’re a network marketer or interesting in becoming one.  Start tweeting value everyday like blog posts and sprinkle your capture page or affiliate links somewhere in between.  Does it take time to build followers?  Yes.  Is it worth it in the long run?  Yes.

There you have it.  These are 4 ways for you to get traffic flowing to your sites.

There are many other ways, but the main way is simply this:  HUSTLE.  You have to work!  Building traffic is like a snowball effect, you start small and you just keep adding to it everyday.

Whatever method or methods you choose, nothing will replace discipline and consistency and nothing will generate you millions of visitors overnight.

Are you ready to take your business to the next level?

I mean really, are you tired of failing and not having any success in your network marketing business?

Simple SEO Tricks Anyone Can Use

seo-tipsSEO is hard and takes too long.  You need a degree from Harvard or MIT in order to understand it.  It’ll take me months to learn that stuff and what’s the point anyway?  Have you thought that before or do you think it now?  If so, then you’ll thank me after reading this article.

First of all, What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.  I know, pretty fancy term, huh.  But let’s break it down.  The word optimize means to make as perfect, effective or functional as possible.

So, SEO simply means to make your content as perfect, effective and functional as possible for the search engines.

Why Is SEO important?

Thanksgiving is approaching fast.  Would you want to go through the trouble of decorating your home and preparing a fabulous holiday meal and no one shows up to eat it?

Well, that’s exactly what you’re doing when you’re creating content and not using SEO.  Why go through the trouble of writing articles, blog posts, videos, etc. and no one shows up to read or view them?  It’s essentially an exercise in futility.

Now yes, you can still get syndication from using tribes, but 1,000 Facebook shares and re-tweets will NEVER get you top rankings in the search engines.

Now why would I want my articles, posts and videos in the top rankings of Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc?  Hmmm, I’ll let you figure that one out.

Do You Need To Be An SEO Expert?

People have been avoiding SEO like the fat chick at the prom (ok maybe that wasn’t so nice) because it’s been made out to be  something too complicated to understand or something you’d have to pay thousands of dollars for to have a guru do for you.  Fooey!

When you grasp the fact that SEO is so simple, you’ll laugh and wonder why you avoided it for so long.

Bottom line,

If you implement SEO you’ll get more targeted traffic back to your sites for one, and there you’ll have the chance to increase your conversion rate and your profits.

Now, I’ve been learning a lot about SEO lately because it’s so critical to content marketing and I recently came across a FREE report that puts everything I’ve learned in a very clear cut, easy to understand practical way and I want to share it with you.

Now, although these guys are  SEO experts with degrees from USC and MIT, believe me, this report is so value-packed and the tips are so simple, a cave man could do it.

So go here to get your hands on this FREE report and begin implementing these SEO tricks today.

But before you go, please share this post with pothers by clicking the Facebook and Retweet buttons above. Thanks

P.S.  Are you ready to turn your business around? If you’re truly ready to succeed and start creating the business and life you deserve, then  fill out the form below.

Any network marketer worth their weight in salt has heard the term of attraction marketing and if you’ve heard it, but you’re not implementing it, then shame on you!  What I’ve found is though many have heard the term, few truly understand attraction marketing and how it comes into play with “finding” the very best prospects to buy your products and join your business.

In its simplest form, the concept attraction marketing is YOU; branding YOU, Inc.  You are branding and promoting yourself, not your business opportunity or network marketing company.  You see, you don’t “find” prospects with attraction marketing, they find you.

Now, why wouldn’t I pitch my opportunity first? Isn’t that the whole point, to get people to join my business?

NOT!

And here’s why.  Your best prospects are in a targeted market and that market is other network marketers.  They could be people who were previously in network marketing before, are currently in it today or actively buying information about it.

Why would I target other network marketers?

  • Network marketers already believe in the business model.  They don’t have to be sold on it like your family members and friends.
  • Serious network marketers have already spent money in the industry.
  • Serious network marketers want to succeed.
  • Serious network marketers are willing and eager to use anything that will help them succeed.

Ok, you and this attraction marketing thing still don’t make sense.  What in the world would I market to other network marketers who are probably in a company already and won’t join me anyway?

Great question, grasshopper!

Allow me to answer with a question; what does every single network marketer need help with? Recruiting customers and prospects, right?  Right!

So, why not market a complete solution to that problem in the form of an attraction marketing system.

You’re going to market two things:

  1. You, Inc., because people don’t join business opportunities, they join people.
  2. Your attraction marketing system because people want solutions!

Lastly, you bring your opportunity into focus as a solution to other problems faced in the industry or with mlm companies specifically.  After and only after you market the “How”, do you market the “Who, What, When, Where and Why” of your company.

Here Lies Old School Network Marketing

This is the exact opposite of how the average networker works and the average networker is BROKE, BUSTED and DISGUSTED because they’re still holding onto the traditional ways of network marketing and those ways are DEAD!

Here are the specific tools of attraction marketing:

1. You, Inc. and the value you share with others – By constantly learning and having a valuable set of skills to share, having access to tools, systems, and leadership, you are seen as a leader and leaders are attractive to other aspiring entrepreneurs, hence “attraction marketing”.

You have value to offer and you give without want.  You provide leadership by sharing this information with others and directing them to systems and training where they can also grow and duplicate success.

2. Lead Capture page – A high-converting web site that offers a compelling offer (free information, video, training, etc) in exchange for the prospect’s contact information.

3. Auto-responderEmail service that allows you to deliver  designed and targeted follow up messages to your prospects to further build your relationship, deliver valuable information that educates, sells your product, service or system on autopilot for you 24/7.

4. A Funded Proposal – The long and short of a funded proposal is the art and science of offering a low priced information product that is targeted to your niche market and provides value to your prospect. Usually in the form of a training course or ebook which provides a fast, high converting retail sale for you so you can monetize your list building.  This way, your business receives ongoing cash and you’re making money off your prospects even if they don’t decide to join your primary company.

5. Affiliate Marketing – Additional offers of valuable products and services in your target niche which you can offer to your list for long term sales. Can you say more money, more money, more money?  Remember, some of these people haven’t joined your primary company, but you’re still making a profit off of them.

Attraction Marketing is a highly effective way to optimize and leverage your home based business. It will explode any business using these tools the right way.

If you want your very own attraction marketing system, fully customized to BRAND YOU including the keys I gave you and MUCH MORE, go here NOW!  OR you can continue to R.I.P. with the other average marketers.

9 Essential Social Media Tips for Beginners

Written by Glen June 4, 2010 at Top Rank Blog

Plunging into social media for the first time can be a bit daunting for individuals or businesses. There is a learning curve when it comes to becoming more social online, and it can take a while to learn what works and what doesn’t.  Here are a few of the best Do’s and Don’ts that can save you time and help grow your social media authority more quickly.

1. Start small

You’ll want to start small and try a couple services out at a time. Oftentimes newbies sign up for every social network under the sun and try to grow each of them. Guess how long they last? Building profiles for multiple social sites is hard work, so it’s best to start by only tackling a couple at first.

Once you find the right ones for you or your brand, then start to narrow your focus on those. Eventually you may want to scale your social media strategy to include more services, but you have to crawl before you can walk.

Start small, and then grow to other social networks as your confidence grows. Success breeds success.

2. Get a widget

Put a widget up on your site for your social networks. The best place to find followers is your own blog or site. Also, it’s much easier to get your readers and friends to vote or retweet your content than strangers. Adding a widget next to your content can help.

Facebook has a widget generator you can use, and the Tweetmeme badge is easy to add to your site as well.

3. Frequently test your buttons and widgets

Start testing which social media profiles have the most impact, then drop the rest. For example, if your site does really well with Facebook shares but hardly ever gets voted on Digg, then drop the Digg vote button.

Oftentimes you’ll see sites littered with tons of widgets and buttons. Having a gazillion widgets at the end of each article only creates noise and annoys the reader. Figure out which buttons are getting clicked, and drop the buttons that don’t convert. Ideally you’ll only have two or three widgets on each page.

You can tell which buttons are effective by using Google Analytics and goals to see who’s clicking what. You can also use A/B to see which types of buttons are getting more clicks.

4. Don’t annoy your followers

Sounds like common sense, right? Unfortunately, lots of companies that are just starting out with social media think the best way to “promote” their brand is to publish coupons, offers, news, and anything else related to their business.

Rule of thumb: if it’s something you personally wouldn’t like to receive, avoid it.

Your social media goal is to be helpful first. People follow and respect brands that are helpful, not self-promoting shills. Give first, then ask.

Try posting useful links to industry articles, answer questions, and engage. The followers, engagement, and ultimately sales will come if you’re helpful first.

5. Don’t fret about follower counts

Don’t believe all the spammy ebooks out there that sell you the notion that you can attract thousands of followers in a matter of days. Sure, you could do that and it’s not hard. But the types of followers who are going to be following you are mostly bots. Or they’re just following you in hopes that you’ll follow them back. Ultimately, they aren’t followers who would engage with you.

You want social media followers that are going to listen and interact with you, and 10 of those followers is worth more than a thousand bots.

It takes a while to organically build up a great social profile. Focus on building great content and being helpful, and the followers will come.

6. See what the pros are doing

Everyone has a different strategy when it comes to social media, and sometimes it’s best to take a look at people who are real social media experts. Lee Odden is a good example of someone using Twitter and Facebook to help people, which in turn grows his social media influence.

There are plenty of fantastic examples of people who truly understand how to interact and build powerful social media profiles the right way. Check out sites like WeFollow to find influential Twitter users within your niche.

7. Don’t overlook niche social media sites

When people think of social media, they typically think of Twitter or Facebook. But there are literally hundreds (maybe thousands?) of social media networks and sites that you can use to help promote your brand. Jut because a network isn’t huge doesn’t mean it’s not going to impact your social media strategy. Oftentimes targeted niche social sites can bring more targeted traffic to your site than larger sites.

If you’re smart, you can use smaller social networks to help promote your site on other bigger social networks. For example, I’ve written posts on web development that have made it to the front page of Dzone, a social media site for web development. Once the article made it to the front page of Dzone, the attention brought a lot of saves on Delicious, and subsequently made it to the Delicious front page. The delicious front page brought even more traffic, and those Delicious users voted the story up to the Digg front page. So, by simply submitting my site on a smaller niche news site with a great headline, I managed to make it to the coveted homepages of both Digg and Delicious.

Niche social news sites can be very powerful, and oftentimes much easier to become influential in than the larger sites. Here’s a list of social news sites organized by category.

8. Find people within your niche to follow on Twitter

The ideal follower on Twitter is one that has similar interests within your niche. You can find like-minded people to follow on Twitter through these  directories and odds are many will follow you back.

Once you’ve started following these people, start interacting with them. Participate in discussions, and retweet things they say that would be helpful to your community.

Not only will this method help build your follower counts, it also gives you more influence within your niche. You’ll find great friends that will help you promote your content and site too. Always remember to give first and ask later.

9. Stay Humble

Social media beginners often try to quickly establish themselves as “experts” within their field, but they have nothing to back it up. (For example, search for “social media experts” on Twitter. You’ll find many with only a handful of followers. Shouldn’t an “expert” have more?)

As with anything in life, nobody likes a know-it-all. Be humble. Ask questions. Teach, but don’t preach. Let others do the hyping for you. And they will if you’re helpful and humble.
